Like ancient Israel, America (Monotheisms) shares a belief in God as the universe’s creator. Like ancient Israel our Founders built America on Judeo-Christian Principles…Which denoted in our Declaration of Independence. “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness” Consequently, the Blessings of God on America is the epitome of being prosperous that has surpassed and the embodying the American dream. The American Dream is our spiritual inheritance through the obedience and the following Christ authentically. In fact, the Bible asserts: “That Righteousness exalts a nation, and sin is a reproach against any people”. [Proverbs 14:34]
Regrettable, Like Ancient Israel, the American Culture, like the ole idiom that goes: We didn’t “thrown caution to the wind” … As a result, We’ve and abandonment our spiritual sacredness for the profane and apostasy. The Scripture also explicitly declares: “Woe to those who call evil good and good for evil, who put darkness light and light for darkness… [See Isaiah 5:20] Without question America is living, in some pivotal times, in the age of Apostasy and moral relativism. Without boundaries, problems persist unless significant reform occurs as in Josiah’s era.
Furthermore, I need to be candid, the abandonment of God and our Monotheism beliefs, has contributed to our society to turning to paganism. The metamorphosis began in the early 1960’s and we can see the effects of our moral declined in our American society, especially when we’d outlawed Prayer and Bible reading in our public Schools. Unfortunately, the replacement of our spiritual dogma was far worst than our Theism. In contrast, paganism has infiltrated all levels of our American society which have taken a toll on the lives of our youth in the decommunization and Polytheism which took on many forms especially in the tragedy of gun violence and multitude School Shootings. Quite frankly, I emphatically believe the moral jurisprudence and the proceeding Scripture is significant, which we need to adhere to, which is so relevant today. “They sow to the wind and reap the whirlwind” [Hosea 8:7] Hindsight is supposedly 20/20, we can’t change the past; however, we should be able to learn from our past, whether failure or success, especially from ancient Israel.
Another piece of the jigsaw, and part of the decadence of our American Society, is also part of the sexual revolution that also began in the 1960’s as well. Consequentially, part of the permeation and the sexualization that are becoming part of the American demise. That has darkened our world and civilization, under the guise freedom of speech and the first Amendment. For example, same sex marriage, is sadly part of the sexual perversion that pervades in our American civilization that’s contrary to the teaching of the Scriptures. Despite a plethora of people in pop-culture has jump on the bandwagon of moral depravity in our American culture doesn’t mean you should. The gender confusion, or (Transgender) in our society especially among our young people today which is undeniable a departure from God and monotheism. [See Romans 1:24-29]
As I mentioned above, unless there’s a reformer like in the civilization of Josiah, (who was radical) to cleanse the Temples of Israel from paganism that contributed to their moral decay and the darkness that pervaded over Israel Civilization. Which begs the question, where is the Josiah’s of our day in the American civilization, especially in these critical End–Times?
Finally, like never before the American Churches needs Reformers like Josiah who’re bold and courageous to bring forth a clarion Word of God that would cause men to repent and transform their lives, regardless of the retribution or the backlash, especially the imminent return of Christ. The Proceeding passage of Scripture is very nevertheless, If the Body of Christ would only adhere and do it, we would turn the World right side up. “If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and heal their land.” [2 Chronicles 7:14]
